Edamame makes a great addition to your next barbecue!
(1) Edamame (raw, in the pod)
(2) Salt (we like sea salt with a fairly high residual mineral content)
How to cook:
Wash the pods well, sprinkle generously with sea salt, and grill over a low flame until the outside of the pod is lightly seared.
You can also use an oven or frying pan.
One of the keys to this way of eating edamame is the salt--experiment with different kinds and amounts. We recommend coarse sea salt or kosher salt, which have none of the additives of table salt.
