boiled, shelled edamame (100 g--a little less than a quarter pound)
shiso (about 5 leaves, sliced into thin strips)
chopped onion (20 g) (red or white)
chopped tomato (20 g)
soy sauce (2 tbsp)
olive oil (1 tbsp)
optional: bonito flakes (a pinch) --- You can find these fish flakes at most Asian food markets--they add a smoky flavor to the salad.
How to make:
(1) Mix all the ingredients except shiso and bonito flakes in a large bowl.
(2) Add the shiso and bonito flakes on top.
Serve slightly chilled.
This also makes a good sauce for a chilled pasta dish!
